This is one of those recipes you’ll reach for again and again because it’s incredibly simple: Slow Cooker Pulled Pork.

The recipe comes from my Aunt Heidi — our family is full of good cooks, and I love sharing their easy, reliable dishes. This pulled pork is a favorite because it’s flexible and forgiving.

Once the pork is cooked and shredded, you can serve it many ways. It freezes well for up to three months, so make a big batch to enjoy different meals later — sandwiches, wraps, or plated with sides.

You can shred the pork with a fork and knife or use shredding claws for faster, easier results. They look dramatic but they work well.

Heidi’s family likes to serve this pulled pork on buns or rolls with cream cheese — simple and delicious.
