- Diamond Head State Monument has adjusted operating hours to support rockfall mitigation through 5 September 2025. Visitors should review current schedules and access information before planning a hike.
- Vendors from the Aloha Stadium Swap Meet & Marketplace will move to the Upper Halawa Lot beginning 1 August 2025 while the stadium site is redeveloped into a new stadium and entertainment district. If you rely on the swap meet, note the temporary location change.

- The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikīkī Beach is marking nearly ten years with refreshed rooms in the ʻEwa Tower, newly styled signature suites, and updated guest experiences aimed at elevating stays near the beach.
- Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort has debuted Kahawai Chapel, an ocean-facing wedding venue inside the hotel that offers panoramic Pacific views for ceremonies.
- Secret Garden & Gems, a luxury florist and jewelry boutique, will open inside The Royal Hawaiian resort on 1 July, offering upscale arrangements, bouquets, leis and keepsakes.

- Solera, located at The Ritz-Carlton Residences in the former La Vie space, features Hawaiʻi Regional Cuisine with global influences in an open-air setting overlooking Fort DeRussy Beach Park.
- Haleʻiwa Town Shave Ice has opened a Waikīkī shop on the basement level of Waikiki Shopping Plaza — a convenient place to grab a classic island shave ice when it’s warm out.

- Go Hawaiʻi Tours now runs a Diamond Head Hike Express shuttle service that transports guests from Waikīkī to Diamond Head, making the hike easier to access without driving or parking concerns.
- Wai Kai will launch AquaPeakz on 1 July, an elevated inflatable obstacle and slide experience for ages 7 and up at Wai Kai Lagoon. A family splash pad for younger keiki will follow.
